This week was pretty calm - Week 55

Not too much going on!

We did exchanges with the sisters in the Gila Valley and I was able to go for the day! It was a blast! We had lunch with Sean and he is doing great! Was promoted at work and everything just seems to be going right. He bore his testimony to us on how the church has helped him to get on this path in his life. It was so awesome to be able to see how everything is going 5 months after his baptism.

We had a really awesome miracle on Friday! We were doing a blitz with the other missionaries and we were knocking a trailer park in our area. We knocked on one door and a man opened, took one look at us and said "oh go away." As we walked away I said a little prayer in my heart, "Heavenly Father, please soften these people's hearts." The next door we knocked on, a woman named Shaydle opened. She let us in and we talked a little. She has 3 kids and is living with her boyfriend. Her youngest daughter was there and she is adorable! She then asked us what makes our church different, which gave us the opportunity to share the message of the restoration with her. After we shared the first vision, we asked her how she felt and she said "like I want to know what they said!". As we finished the lesson she told us how the church she is going to had just not been feeling totally right lately. She had learned some things that she didn't really like. We bore our testimonies of how the gospel blesses families and how we know that as we pray about what Heavenly Father wants us to do, he will guide us. We set up another lesson for this Tuesday and invited her to church! As we walked away, I just thought about how Heavenly Father really is always listening to our prayers and He will guide us as we are faithful. It was a great experience.

On Saturday we were able to do some service for a member in our ward that owns a ranch. It was so fun! I felt like a real cowgirl!

Well, that is about it for this week! We are excited for Thanksgiving and all the miracles we will see as people are more grateful! Love you all so much! Safe travels and have a good week!
