A Normal Week - Week 30

So this week was a pretty normal week. We did TONS of less active work. Finding new people is already becoming a lot harder because so many people are leaving to go out of town for the summer. So we are going to have to start being really creative in our finding ideas haha. A less active we visit is a social worker and she was able to tell us where we might be able to find some families that are having a hard time and she also gave us advice on ways to find! We are really excited to try them out and see how it all goes. So Friday was just another normal day... besides the fact I turned 21! But really, it was a pretty normal day. All of the missionaries in our zone are really awesome and they made sure that I had fun. We all went out for lunch at an Italian restaurant and then Hermana Blackford and I did weekly planning. I got the package mom and dad. Thanks so much(: Also thank you to everyone who sent me a letter! It was so exciting to open the mail box and have it bursting(:

So on Saturday we did another blitz with the Elders. We decided to knock this little town called Solomon. We just always seem to pick the best days to go out because it got up to 109 degrees... The best part? Hermana Blackford and I weren't even dying! I had doubled up on layers of sunscreen (really smart idea) so I didn't even get burned. I actually got a little tan! Shocking! I have a slight tan line on my arm where my sleeves hit! I am officially turning into an Arizonian! Also, I can say that I can walk around for 2 hours in 109 degrees and keep going happy and strong(: We didn't find anyone new to teach, but we did knock into a member family who gave us Popsicles! That was pretty fun! The elders found a man who had just gotten out of jail the day before and they are excited to keep visiting him(:

All is going really well. It is supposed to be about 105 every day this week so we are going to do our best to stay cool and happy(: We are excited about what is going on here and how excited the members are getting to help as well! You are all in my prayers and I love you so much! Have a good week!
