Wow. where to even begin with this week. So last week was a bummer week. Lots was going on and lots of things fell through so Hermana Blackford and I were pretty bummed. But we made a pact that this week was going to be "beast week", and it was! Way better! We had so much success and were really able to see a lot of people start progressing!
Ernesto: We got to see him almost everyday this week! He is really progressing! We are so excited to see how he is changing and how much happier he is. Still working towards his date of the 31st of may! He came to church yesterday and stayed for all three hours and loved it! He brought his daughter as well (she is 7) and she liked it too. She was pretty quiet but we got her to open up and have fun. Cool experience on Friday night: So we have a lesson scheduled with Ernesto at 7 and it was going to be at a members house. He had to cancel last minute and we were super bummed. Well 8:20 rolls around and we are stuck in this awkward position where we have no clue who to see or what to do. We pulled over to pray and still weren't really sure. All of a sudden Ernesto called and asked if we still had time to visit him! Of course! But now it came down to who could we bring with us, because we cant go into his house unless we've got someone. Well we called a sister in our branch and asked and if she could come. The conversation went a little like this "Hi Hermana! We were wondering if you could come visit someone with us right now. we know it is late notice but if you have time... " "right now?" "yeah" "okay i will put a skirt on. come get me". We were ECSTATIC! Things seriously work out so perfectly! This member (Hermana Larson) is the best!!
Well, we just basically had an awesome week full of really spiritual lessons and lots of cool experiences like that, where things just work out perfectly. Sorry that I couldn't go into more detail, but hopefully my pictures show how much fun I am having! love you all so much! Cant wait to talk to you on mothers day!
